Hi all,

I'm driving from basically Fresno to Long Beach tomorrow (Sunday, the 5th). Can anyone think of a shop (aquarium shop, acrylic shop, etc) that would have 1/4 inch acrylic tubing at least 18" in length available?

I figure this is a long shot being Sunday and a holiday weekend, laugh.

Ty!

Amazon i imagine has such things
Ty! It's a bit rough at Amazon, they mostly do 12 and 16 inches. But I do get the spirit of your reply! Tap plastics, or US plastics, etc. I'm on a bit of a time crunch, was hoping to find something even though it's a big stretch. :-)

That's what I was thinking too! I figured I had a better shot of somebody saying they had some in the garage along the way. Lol!

There are two shops in Santa Monica that carry tubing. But it may be worth calling ahead to be sure the holiday didn’t impact their hours of operation

Ty! I'll do some Google'ing

Would RODI line work? also...I probably have some 3/16 ridged downstairs if that can work.
That's what I'm using now, thanks! It tends to rise up inside the freshwater reservoir bin feeding a couple of peristaltic pumps. My backup plan is to use too long of RODI line and tie it around some PVC fittings to help make it sink down at the bottom versus floating halfway up and sucking in air prematurely. I have some of those 3/16 rigid lines made by I want to say Lee's aquarium? I thought of like trying to wrap some Teflon tape to make it work in the one quarter inch fitting. But this is where the peristaltic pumps pull water out of this top off reservoir and I'm afraid the vacuum would make that unreliable. Especially for my vacation sitters, if you know what I mean.

Call age of aquariums. They’ve got decent stock of stuff like that. tongs would have had it, but I think they are still closed from fire. Could try Carson’s tropical fish or strictly fish. They are relatively close to one another.
