Might want to put the tubing into a bowl of water (while connected to CO2 tank) and check for bubbles. I think CO2 tubing is usually PE, so you should be good. Or you just replace the tubing since it’s a cheap maintenance.
That’s a great idea!

the only one that won‘t work with is the connector on the carbon doser… they don’t play well with getting wet.

Not great with ID's but the tank is looking good. For sure that in question is a frogskin. That stag is bitchen.

Lovely photos, great size on those colonies! What would you say is your favorite acro of the bunch there? Rainbow milli and UNK table are showing great poly extension.

The “tabling“ fan acro behind it is pretty awesome too. It has these little red polyps all over it that do not show up in photos I take

Definitely a frogskin and they do grow super fast. The tricolor could be valida or secale, both are great. The purple tip looks too big to be a Paletta pink tip, they usually have smaller branches. The tabling acro looks like a named piece, but the names escapes me at the moment. Otherwise, everything looks great!

I have been running the same radium 250’s for almost 2 years now, they still look new… I probably should get a PAR meter and figure out if they need replacing.

I have a 200 gallon IO box filled with sets of 3 (tested and matched by PAR) radium’s but I took a gander at what new ones cost, they are still $80/lamp…..IF YOU CAN FIND THEM!!!

how long until they get LEDs to look as nice as MH?

I love my 14k Hamiltons, gonna keep using them until I can't. I think when manufacturers realize that it's not just the blue spectrum that corals needs, it's the full spectrum. Until then, we get gadgets that remind us of Vegas.

Every other weekend. Except for hurricane weekend. But back at it Labor Day. How long is the drive to Powell? Houseboat?
Not doing the house boat, we want to get 75+ miles up the lake. those things move at 11 knots.

I’m doing a few days on Mead with friends and then like 6 hrs to Powell. I’m bringing a tent and air mattress but I may just sleep in the boat. Family has stupid school so they aren’t coming.
