Been wanting to do this for a long time so I finally pulled the trigger to build my dream fish only tank. It's going to be sweet:) I finally can keep those fishes I wanted but couldn't in my reef tank.
The tank is being built by Advanced Acrylic. The dimensions are 116" long, 32" wide and 36" tall. It's going to be a peninsula style with 3/4" thick and 3 openings on top. I will have internal coast to coast overflow on the far end. Sump will be around 80 gal. Skimmer will be Aquamaxx EM600. Lighting will be 4 Kessil 360 WE.
Ok enough with the intro lets get on with pictures!!:)
The stand is being built around the existing low wall between my formal living room and dinning room.

578g will have at least 5000 lbs of total weight on the stand and flooring. Have you checked to see if that's okay?

I hope so or think so. I think I have enough support...no? My current stand for my 225 gal probably have less than half of the support of this one. The existing low wall itself will give extra support in the middle that a normal stand doesn't have.
