Not sure how this is possible but my SPS is turning green. Had a blue tort and a couple months later it morphed into a green color. thought it was weird but later I added a garf bonsai which was brown/purplish at base and blue at tips now the brown purple has turned into the same color green that the blue tort did. only other sps I have in my tank is a green slimer and green birds nest which already green. Anyone have any idea why this could be? I am using Radion lights with the preset program, lots of white and blues.. I will try and post pics of the corals when I first put them in to what they look like now but its hard to really capture the true color with my iPhone.

The stuff we test for wouldn’t really tell us anything about color change. A triton year may, but you would have to have a much more understanding of water chemistry for that

I agree with Jose. You should get your water chemistry tested. It could be a a surplus/deficiency in a particular trace element. Which Radion preset are you using?

Do you do water changes or dose trace elements at all?

If you do regular water changes I'd looking into your light settings.

Got nitrates?

overall intensity?
Program/what are you sliders at % wise?

I've come across too many successful radion tanks running AB+ so I started there. I've since added a little more white leds on my G3 Pros for a more natural look during the day. Still get that pop with all blues when I want to view that way. Don't be scared to crank those thing up also. I'm running 4 over my 6' tank at 85%. Getting great color so far.

I agree to do the ICP test. I know in the past for me excess iron will cause certain acros to turn green.

Sometimes acro frags turn green a few weeks after added to my display and then journey back to their true color. Green coloration also is an indication of not enough light.
