i've got a bulb anemone that has tripled in size in the 2 months i've owned it. in an earlier thread it was mentioned that the anemone will split.
Q-how big till it will split?
Q-do they always split, or is it a 50/50 thing?
Q-the anemone, (ralph), is only bulbed at night, during the day his tentacles are long and spread out, is this ok/normal?
thanks for any input and advice.

My lta (maybe a BTA in another tank), split shortly after I got it, and it was about 50-50 split, but they have both grown to be larger then the orginal.

I am obviously feeding them well, and still no split.

I would like one more, maybe to trade, as I want a Rose, but I dont want to confuse the 2 pair of clowns that I have, and or have them fight over the odd man out anemone...

I like anemones, but would not want a full tank of them, although the one species tank of anemones that I saw was EXCELLENT

Mine gets better big when they start splitting. And the more you feed the faster they split. Usually the tentacles are inflated the day after I feed. Once it gets hungry, it shrinks. My lost its bulb shape a long time ago.

Here is a pix of my rose island. I started off with 1 about a year ago, and it has split prob 10 times. I traded and sold a few in the past year. Not even sure how many clones I have now.
