I have a flagfin angel in my reef tank, I've had him for about 18 months now. Have a good selection of corals in there and he doesn't bother anything. Today I purchased some clean up crew because I'm falling behind, I noticed he keeps picking at the chocolate star. Is this just a transition or do I have a potential problem? He left the red star alone along with the 2 urchins. I read they are sponge only eater, which is interesting because this guy eats algae, mysis, brine, worms, pellets.
