can you give some info about the camera and setting used. I think that should be put for every photo that is summitted. That way it can help us no so good photo takers out LOL

Phew. That was a really close one, Greg. Thanks for the vote of confidence guys/gals. :)

The piece actually belongs to a buddy of mine and I just happened to have a camera with me. It is from Australia and happens to be much brighter than other pieces that I've seen (he has another piece which is similar in coloration to the other dendro in the contest). Picture was taken w/a D2X with 105mm VR micro lens, handheld.

Now that's a great photo, so was gcarroll photo, I wish I could take pictures like that,

I think I am going to the LFS or Local Aquarium for pictures.

Ebn..nice camera and lens combo..how do you like the lens..

btw i have a Nikon d200 with only a 18-200 vr lens.
