ok so i got a 60g tank with wet and dry filtration system on the back, ive noticed for a couple of days that my water level in my tank looks lower than usual, ive added water to the back of the tank in the filtration system and the water level keeps lookin lower, its so low it looks like its about to reach my powerhead, what can be causing this? could it be that my pump in the back its goin out???any ideas.....thanks...

no evaporation happens and the water in the back of my tank in the filtration system goes down, the water in the actual tank where my fish are is actually loower than before....

So you have an all in one setup.

Evapotation takes place in the rear filter system just like it would if it were a conventional sump below it.

But you are saying it is down in both but even moreso in the filter section. Correct?

Can't be pump going bad because then there would be more water than should be in filter section. Not less. But the display would have less then too because not as great as return.

So if both are low. I would think leak in the rear filter section since that's where the greatest loss is at. Check for wet floor behind tank.

i remember this happened to me, if you got filters in the rear section try cleaning them, they may be clogging it
