LOL no way im not starting over on this tank!

I think copper band might be okay with sps, but he wont eat majano.
I read that a raccoon butterfly fish will eat the majanos and also aiptasia.
Maybe ill put all my palys/zoas and lps in my sump if the butterfly is sps safe?

I have way too many majanos to kill if I used kalkwasser paste :(

Is a raccoon butterfly sps safe? I can't move any sps since they're all expoxy and grown on the rocks. All lps and zoas/palys I can move into the sump and place a metal halide over my sump and leave them in there for 2 weeks or however it takes till all majanos are eaten.

Ramzy, Majanos are BAD NEWS! I'm not sure how to kill them but take drastic measures ASAP. Good luck, keep us informed on your progress.

Ive got a ton in my tank :(
Ill start killing a few each day with kalkwasser.
I need to do more research on raccoon butterfly fish and how badly they pick at sps.

Im going to try injecting them with boiling hot ro/di water. If this doesn't work then aiptasia X or kalkwasser paste.

I tried lighting them on fire 2 weeks ago. This didn't work lol. I took live rock out of my tank and put a flame over the majano for 20 seconds melting them. Well somehow 2 weeks later babbies came back that were in the same spot of the original majano. So this isn't a good solution.

Set up another tank (treatment tank) . Add couple piece of your tank's rock in there with couple Butterfly fish . When Majonos is gone, put it back to your main tank and add another untreated to treatment tank. do that until you don't see anymore Majonos. Meanwhile don't kill any in the tank, it could spread more.
just my 2 cents.
