I need some inspiration on setting up the electrical area of the tank. Do you put the all the power bricks and controllers on the electrical board? And APEX and where to locate the APEX outlets?

If you have photo of your electricals, I would love to see it.

Whoa, you got some working skills. So is the thought that you just hide the wire rat nest in the between your boards? That’s the first time I have seen this.

Yeah, that's the idea. Plus, I'll probably have the EB8's on the interior panel so the power cables don't stick out and they can be tucked in behind the front panel. I'll have a cutout to access the plugs for each one. Also, I can have the power bricks mounted behind the front panel and out of the way. I also like using shorty right angle extensions for most of the power cables, which makes it easier to manage.

Thanks for the tips. Now, I'm starting to get an idea on how to do it. I think I will need to go to Home Depot and buy another piece of wood. Can you post a picture when you are done? So you put the EB8's hidden behind the front panel? So the front panel disconnects or how is it attached?

I'm starting to think the power bricks, that I'm going to mount them on the back of my stand instead of inside the electrical panel. Just taking up too much space.

Here’s mine. I made mine so I can see the apex with the door on. I made my own cabinet door a put a 1/8” piece of acrylic in the frame so I can see if everything is running fine with out opening the door. Then I installed cooling fans to keep all the electrical equipment running at cooler temps. The fans have dust covers to help reduce salt

You put the cooling fan behind the front electrical panel, so it is cooling the wires? Is it necessary?

I like keeping all the electronics outside of the stand. I made a separate cabinet to house all my wires and plugs. The face comes off the cabinet to give access to the power supplies and outlets.

Use velcro ties instead of zip ties for cable management.

The power bricks for some things will be mounted behind the front panel, so depending on how warm it gets in there, I might have a couple fans come on to keep them cool? My Kessil bricks melted some printed brackets that were pretty thick, so I want to prevent that from happening again. This is a coat closet that doesn't have any ventilation, so until I get a vented fan installed in the ceiling, fans will do the trick for now.

Good tips. I might mount the power bricks to the back of the tank instead of inside the electrical panel. This way I don’t have to worry about the heat. I will move some return plumbing to give me access to back of tank.
