I resealed my 75 at home. Went to home depot and bought the silicone and waited 3 full days before doing a leak test. its been about 9 months and no leak. you have to remove the old silicone first.

I resealed my 160g waterbox, and the sump.

It is not hard, well the sump was hard, the tank is actually very very easy.

You want to make sure you use the right silicone. I really recommend the Aquascape Pro. It is a few dollars more, but when you have worked with it, and then something else, you will notice a huge difference.

It is just like painting. The prep work takes a long time, the silicone part is quick.

Melev has a cool video on youtube where he documents a tank maker making 60g cubes. I watched that and followed it. No clamps or nothing just some masking tape.

I rebuilt my 187g.

Also FYI proper curing time for any large aquarium is 28day. If you do your research on how large aquariums are built the curing time is the most important. They recommend to not even move a curing tank for 28day.
thank you for the input. I wanted to reseal because the tank I’m about to buy on the left side is missed aligned. It’s a Waterbox 100.3 about 75 gal

Did you have to take out all the silicone? I attached the pic where it’s missed align

I don't think what you have pictured there warrants resealing it. Looks fine to me.

When you reseal it, you would have to take out all of the silicone. You basically scrape it off, and then there are some cleaners that help to remove it. It is by far the hardest part.

I asked others and they said bad quality control by Waterbox. It miss aligned I’m just getting opinion if that will require resealing
