As I contemplate my new sump design and plumbing, I've been considering eliminating having a complicated manifold. I want to take a "KISS" approach and have considered using something like the Innovative Marine Reactor. I've done quite a few searches and have not found a lot of real world information or reviews.

I use Rowaphos and Rox 0.8 Carbon and am wondering if anyone has any experience with these reactors, thoughts, or concerns. I'm still considering the Aquamaxx, Skimz, and Next Reef MR1.

Thanks for your time,

Mike

Used the smallest version on a 34g solana in the past. Really liked it. Small footprint with pump at the base so you don't have to do extra plumbing to get it running. Just add the media you want and drop in and you are good to go. You can also turn the knob to adjust water flow. Changing media is also super simple.

Kinda regret selling it when I broke down the nano and would buy it back if I see someone selling one just to hoard :)

if you wanna keep it simple, just use bags for your media...it does the trick for me!
