Apex moonlights? What are some opinions?

I'm considering these, but can't find much info. I can't find a guide or anything that says how many you need for your specific set up. And at Marine Depot's site today I saw that the module had been discontinued, anyone use these?

Just place your Apex display above the tank and crank up all the way on brightness and you got moonlight. Works for me

Haha at least you found a use for that display. I don't remember the last time I looked at it

It will, you just have to set it up on your apex. I went with the LSM because you don't need external power like you did with the old lunar sim. The LEDs will work with either. I'm actually using DAs Moonlights because I have it integrated into my PowerModule.

Thanks Mike. Any ideas in how many LED's I should get? My canopy is 60 x 18. Looks like you can get either 3 or 5..

You can get 5 and always dial it back if it's too bright but I think 3 will be plenty
