Rocks do have coral on them . Not sure how go about it so I figured to ask all of u.

I’ve used Aptasia X before by RedSea. Worked great and it doesn’t hurt anything in my tank. Your best bet is to take some time to try and kill them individually with aptasia x. You probably won’t get them all in one go but this way you don’t go hurting your coral.

I’ve never had great success with candy cane shrimp, they usually just annoy the hell out of me and eat the food I try to feed my coral instead of killing the aptasia.

If your tank is big enough and you don’t keep clams, try a butterfly fish. I used to be in the maintenance business and that was always our safest bet. Target killing and throwing in a nice butterfly.

Good luck

Aptasia x will never work in getting rid of them IMO. Try kalk paste much cheaper and works.
But those aptasia on the rock you probably won't get rid of unless you start over.
Try Peppermint shrimps but they do eat lps from time to time. Copperband Butterflyfish might work or aptasia eating file fish. if you have no wrasse berghia nudibranch would work. Good luck

I have used peppermint several times through the years with success. The trick is you have to add several, at least 3, at night. Then, don't feed your tank for a couple days. They will take care of the aptasia.

You have been infected by aiptasia. No matter what you use to get rid of them, you must consider the babies. Your best option , unfortunately is to live with them or start from scratch

I’ve used peppermint shrimp. You gotta get a pack though. One won’t do it.
