Here are some real world data testing
All blue channel on a 36”x36” wide grid with each square being 6”x6” center average 30 inches from the sensor

With all channel on with same 30” from sensor

Air you loose 9% in water due to refraction but that can be cosine corrected for salinity which has a higher refractive index compared to air. In fresh water there is no change

The x is smaller equal to the 153 version but with larger reflectors and led spacing for uniformity
