Best place to buy activated carbon in bulk

I would like to know everyone's opinion for the best place to buy activated carbon in bulk.

Years ago, buying it drinking water filtration ready was the least expensive method of purchasing, but i forget how i found such success.

The best deal i can find is at about 5.40/Lb online, "aquarium marketed."

I don't recall but probably under $3 a pound. I bought like a 50 or 60 pound bag

A 60 pound bag would be amazing, but knowing how any paint buckets it would take to store properly would drive my wife nuts. Antsy against my collection of buckets doing nada.

The 5pak is not as good of a deal though. Just because you buy something in multiples or it says bulk doesnt mean it costs less.
