I may get flamed for this, but personally I don't see a problem with flipping per se. If someone sells at a price they feel comfortable with getting, and another down the line makes a few bucks and that buyer is OK with the price, I don't see any harm in that. Its the shady deals, lack of communication, changing the price mid drive, etc is what I have a problem with. Those are just bad sellers and I wouldn't want to do business with them.

But I agree that the post count should be raised to avoid people coming here to strictly sell and not contribute ideas or reef related knowledge that helps the community and our hobby.

agree with cody, if you sold it someone wants to sell it back. maybe change of heart, impluse buy, it was not what it was after close inspection. i done it a few times.

I read through this thread but couldn’t find why he got banned. There are links to closed threads. Can somebody elaborate?

I haven’t dealt with him but curious because been in contact for a few things before. Same behavior as described in this thread, would not text me back and only called because he said he was moving/driving.

He gets a kick out of setting up a time to buy something, tells you on the way ect ect until he waists most of your day not showing.

I laughed and moved on when he responded to a FS thread of mine.

We should have a sticky at the top of fs/wtb/trade sub sections with a list of screen names to avoid.

The same thing with me.....He wants to buy the Aquaticlife Hybrid that I am selling, first he wanted me to deliver to his place at Westminster...I said No, then he kept texting me...and said want to pickup on his way to Rancho Cucomonga....but No show. His New screen name is Andrewfish. Careful......dealing with this guy.

Great. He’s been bugging me to drive out to OC and sell my sump. Calling emailing and texting. Not happening. Glad I saw this thread. Btw Dave overbite is a good guy. He’s hooked me up with a lot of stuff for great prices.

I just traded him some MP-10 for a sump.
Now I am wondering if I should check them to see if they even work.

In his defense he did tell me they made a noise.

Even still, another reminder for people not to do business with him. A noise is one thing, totally rusted on the inside is another story.

If I did a trade like that, I would make it right. Either return your sump or pay for your wetside.
