Ok, with this christmas coming up, i'm thinking of going a little bit bigger from my 20g tank. What size should i jump up to next, 29 or 40g. And lastly, i'm using CF light on my 20g and I want to grow sps, on my next tank, what kind of lighting should I use for a 29g or 40g with out going all out on those high priced crazy lighting system. my budget on the light is around $200. Can someone give me some insight of what i should do? Thanks

i have a 40g tank, and a 29g tank and stand available. cheap. the 29g is taller, therefore would require more light to handle sps, unless you put it high in the tank, the 40g is short so it will have good light penetration throughout. t5 is the best way to go with lighting, pricey but worth it.

if you are looking for a 48" tank, i have a 60g, tank stand and light, i will give you for $400, thats what the lights alone are worth, i can throw in the sand and rock, fully cycled and delivered. ready to go. and powerheads and heater. heck even a protein skimmer, plug and play baby. lights are an 8 bulb t5 setup.

the livestock is not included.

see i would go that big, but right now i'm just living in a place that's not even my own home yet, and i'll be moving from time to time, so I wouldn't want to be draining the tank and having to move from place to place, so thats why i still wanna pick up a med. size tank for now. Sounds like a good price jon but imma have to pass up on that, maybe when i'm actually settled.
