The Bubble Magus Dosing Pumps aren't actually part of our Black Friday sale—sorry for the confusion!—we just thought we'd post them since they're a new arrival (we added them to our store Monday). However, if you find a better price on them elsewhere we match their price then beat it by refunding 10% of the difference (learn more) to ensure you pay the lowest price online when you buy from MD. So if another retailer has, say, a flat discount coupon code going on, you can apply it to these pumps (or whatever else you want to buy).

Neptune Systems makes retailers like MD sign a MRP/MAP agreement to sell their products, so unfortunately we aren't allowed to discount their merchandise unless they give us the official go-ahead. That basically means there would be a unilateral price drop from all retailers should they decide to change prices. Same goes for EcoTech Marine and a few other manufacturers. We apologize for any inconvenience!

However, should you do happen to find a lower price on a Neptune Systems product elsewhere (like with a coupon or something), we'd be happy to beat it!

We have discussed doing precisely what you're talking about, but manufacturers frown upon that behavior from retailers. We are currently developing other ways we can incentivize shoppers so they can get more bang for their buck and, hopefully, remain loyal MD shoppers. We'll certainly announce any new programs we come out with in 2013 here to make sure you're kept in the loop!
