Did you know that I met the owner prb 25+ years ago? My in-laws been going to his shop for years prior…

Jesse is planning to take those two gigs to the spirit world with him. The wait is gonna be awhile…

cool shop, i go weekly, the old owner retired and the new owner is upgrading the store and getting rare and unusual livestock in with frequency.

Just a heads up if anyone looking for a blue Gigantea carson tropical fish just got in multiple that looked to be in good shape. Small and medium size. These will go quick

Do you know what was the price range on them?

Cant give you a firm price but it will be less than what you pay for a blue gig anywhere else. Best bet is to give them a call and ask

lol — @Dutch_Roots is looking for one. I’m not getting it since timing may not be on my side with summer vacations coming up…
Thanks bakbay & Ocellaris for the heads up!

What’s weird is I moved my gigs to their new tank and what I thought was a purple gig now seems blue. I’m still going to go check out what they have and hopefully I get by before they’re all gone.

What do you think, blue or purple on this guy?

Haha naw, im tired of qting gigs. The success rate with cipro doesn't seem to help with survival ime. Have had a string of losses with mine after being healthy for months probably due to feeding too much, or long term effects from fwe, but who knows. Only have two remaining now. Pretty demoralizing. I probably got too greedy/ arrogant and should have stuck to only two max. Im collecting high end btas and they are pretty much stress free compared to gig, which is no surprise. Also have haddonis now along with the remaining gigs

Dutch the purple/blue gigs ime look blue under blue light and purple under daylights. Its hard to say what color but yours looks more purplish

Good to know. I drive by it often, but stopped going in a few years ago. Always good to have good local shops

I was lucky enough to get one. She’s a little bleached but overall very healthy. Just observing at this point because she’s looking so good. I don’t think I’ll need to treat this one.

Thanks for the heads up Ocellaris! I’ve never been to that LFS and got a smoking deal on the Gig! Cool shop and I’ll go back from time to time.
