I got a Blue Spot Jawfish a week ago. He started eating right away and looked very healthy. Now I can't find him anywhere. I have no openings so he couldn't have jumped. I did some searchin with my flashlight and no body. I'm pretty bumbed becuase I finally have a tank that is completely closed in which I can keep one and he looked really healthy and ate like a mother, now gone. Hopefully he's down burrowing but something tells me hes not. Anyway ill keep my fingers crossed.. lol

Do a water test, see if anything has gone up even slightly. If it has and you have no other reason for it going up then you should start searching a round the bottom of your rock formation.

I've had 2. One died of bsj disease and one jumped out. Check around your tank again. He could of flopped off somewhere you wouldn't expect.

OOps..scratch that...skimmed and didn't notice "no opening". hope all turns well

Did you ever find him? I have one as well and couldn't find him last night. He looked good the night before that.
