all 3D printed pieces are in Apex orange to match trident

Forgive my very noobish question, but why all the 3-ad printed parts? I thought he the trident came ready to run out of its packaging.

no worries, here is a break down

the 3D printed regiment needle guides are used to hold the needles straight so that they do not get bent and are more sturdy then just hanging in each.

the 3D printed regiment caps sit on top of each of the bottles with a groove for the tube so its never pinched and has a more secure fit

the inlet winder is so you can have the Trident close to the water supply and keep the tubing at its original length nicely cleaned up. the tubing cant be cut due to the Trident is calibrated at that length of cable is what ive read.

One thing to note: the needle guides don’t only keep the needle from getting bent- but also keeps them straight up and down and allows more of the reagent To be used- if needle is at an angle it detects it’s empty sooner then if it’s straight- making you get more tests from each bottle. I think these are a must and I’m surprised Neptune doesn’t make these them selves.
