Here are the facts and i hope it can rest many peoples rumors. a few customers and victims of the incident have mentioned that they wanted us to help set rumors straight so we decided to make an official "Legal Binding" statement here. any further discussion here shall also be documented and used for any references if further Legal action needs to be taken.

some history and facts regarding the 50G Artisan series "cube" designed complete package.
we have released the Artisan series since 2009 from our own factory. All of our Artisan series aquariums are originated from us here in our Ontario California warehouse only. All the tanks and equipment are built both from here and in our own factory in China which includes everything from the tank, lighting, skimmers, sump and all the other equipment etc. these are all products that meet our specific design specs, quality standards etc. and are directly controlled by us and us only. We do all of our own importing, designing and distribution here in Ontario California and do not use any 3rd party companies.
This supposed Craigslist "Manufacturer" did NOT make any parts, tanks, cabinets, skimmers or any other equipment for us nor did they import anything for us either. anybody that is telling you otherwise is misleading you into believing the distorted facts possibly to solicit a sale of these knock-off aquariums to unsuspecting people. we are a very Transparent company that deals directly with the public and are opened to anyone to contact us or come in to see us and how we make and design our products. any legitimate company should also be the same way.
There is no "Source" that we get our products from other than from ourselves and also if anyone tells you that they are making our products for us, getting CAD Lights products from "our source or similar claims, then they are also lying to you".
They are not the same:
Our tanks all come with high quality Low-iron glass which has a blu-ish tint to it. our edges are also High polished and is very shiny and smooth. our tanks all have a trapezoid seamless overflow box and each one is Laser cut with a support tab on the top rim for extra support. we only have made Dark walnut, White gloss and Cherry cabinet for the Artisan series (no other color). as far as for skimmers, we used to use "real" Bubble-Magus skimmers and now we have switched over to our upgraded CAD Lights 2nd generation Conic skimmers. anyone that really has our tanks can easily tell the difference between ours and other tanks. Lighting, we use standard our LED with full dimming controls (remote control) and the 120W LED pendants. only our 22G small nanos will have a 4 bulb T5 unit since it isnt strong enough for a 50G tank.
