I currently fill the ATO on my old tank by running a line to the container about once a week to fill it and then I wind it back up and put the line back under my sink. I plan to do the same with the Cade. In my opinion this is much easier than carrying buckets back and forth. Gets tiring with a 15g ATO as well.
I would suggest installing a bypass valve before the DI resin camber to flush out the TDS creep, if not you will rapidly go through your DI resin. For me it’s too much work to make just only15 gallons and also the chance of flooding floor if you happen to turn off the rodi unit.

I went with a the BRS three stage resin to help with going through resin too quickly. TDS creep only happens in the beginning but I’m filling a 15g reservoir all at once. It’s not a permanent connection that automatically refills the reservoir. I’m also using a sensor to stop the rodi so there isn’t much risk of it over flowing.

Bubble Magus Filter roller has been running for about 12 hours and it finally is getting to the point where it might trigger the float switch to roll its first new fleece. At this rate the roll might last a very long time. (New roll is 164’ long). I will update as as it gets used up.

My friend brought one last summer. He haven’t replace his first roll yet. It seem to move slowly in his tank. At the rate the roller going I wouldn’t be surprise it will take him a year to go through just one roll.

This tank is looking awesome. Like the lights as well. I thought they were radions at first glance. What is that equipment next to the skimmer? And I actually like the clear silicone.

Thanks. To the left of the skimmer is the filter roller and to the right is the algae turf scrubber.

The Sky use the same mounting points as the Radion that is why the mounting bracket and arm was used in this setup. I don’t believe Neptune had came out with mounting system yet.

I was scrolling real quick and thought you devised a new toilet paper holder lol.

Tank looks great! Not sure if it is because it was my first fish but I love the school of chromis.

Hahaha. Yeah I like to see schooling fish together too. Makes it feel more like the ocean.

It’s been two days and the filter roller has rolled about 1’ of paper. At this rate it will likely last one year per roll like your friend. The rolls are 164’ for the large.
