Sold out for now!

I have two that are ~2" and 13 that are ~1" - 1 1/2".
They're all eating frozen(Rods, Mysis, Spirulina Brine).
Location: Culver City

2" Banggais : $15 ea.
1-1 1/2" Banggais: $10 ea.

For those who are unfamiliar with the behavior of Banggai Cardinals, they are peaceful towards other fish but can be aggressive towards other Banggais of the same sex. I have heard of a guy putting a whole fry in a single tank but it was a larger tank, 150g or more I think, and it had a bunch of longspine sea urchins(their preferred habitat). And apparently they all set up their own areas and seemed fine, but for how long I have no idea. Anyways, point is, the general advice is either get one, or get 4 or more and let them pair up on their own then re-home the rest.

who sale they are 5 bucks any size
Then go to a wholesaler. If you want to buy all of them at once I can give wholesale pricing. If I have to deal with scheduling individual sales it's going to be normal retail pricing. Also the ones you get for $5ea. are not captive bred. I can always take the whole bunch over to the LFS and get $5ea. done deal in one shot.

i dont really see the necessity in buying captive tbh... they're naturally hardy fish. but GLWS
Well, first off I'm not charging a premium for them being captive bred so I'm not sure what your point is. But there are advantages of captive bred fish over wild caught beyond "hardiness". A buyer may have ethical reasons for preferring a captive bred fish or maybe they like to feed pellets and appreciate that captive bred fish are often times more willing to be weaned onto pellets. Captive bred fish are also already fully accustomed to captivity and may be less skittish in my experience as well as less chance of introducing disease.

I love these. How big of a tank would the small ones need?
Ya, definitely one of my favorite fish. 30 gallons is the minimum tank size for these fish. It could of course be fine in a smaller tank for a limited time but they will grow fairly fast. I wouldn't recommend getting a fish you can't house long term though.

Thanks. I have multiple tanks and was trying to figure out where I would need to start it out.
