it's definitely one of those mysteries... I spoke to a couple of vendors this morning and they've lost their cc dj colonies recently as well.. it's becoming a unicorn

If anyone is able to save it they will be the unicorn master... LOL

My Walt Dis jr frag hasn’t RTN yet, but another frag close to it (candyland that I got from @Xaznkewlguyx) RTN’ed. WTF! FML! It’s hilarious because this frag did not grow for 1 year at least, but it always had good color. View attachment 131828

Got my frag at 300-350 PAR without any acclimation, so far still alive . I also didn’t dipped it too long, because it was fairly new.

Here is my other CC Disney Jr, also from @Dooly. It encrusted, fattened up, got decent PE and color, but hasn’t taken off yet. It has been a year - lol

I wouldn’t dip anything from Jason’s. All his Coral go through a pretty rigorous quarantine. I feel like any extra dipping is just stressed to the Coral, but that’s just my two cents.

I never dip corals from Jason either, he already handled that for us. I just float them to acclimate temp. Then do a 50/50 tank water bag water for 15 min or so then in the tank they go. Minimal stress maximum happy.

If your frag is not looking 100% to you, I would trash it. Any slight rtn on this thing seems to be a death sentence.
