chalice help

where should chalices be placed in the tank? i have a 40g with dims are 20x20x20 cube with a 1700 rio return and a koralia 1.. with a odyssea t-5 with 2 atinics a coral wave from wave point and a purple.. where should i be putting the chalices?? im having trouble keeping them and idk why..

Are your parameters and alk stable? Chalices like med to low light for the most part so bottom part of the tank. Low to medium flow as well.

yeah right around 8-9dkh and calc is high according to cheap api test so who knows about calc too cheap right now to buy a better test kit..
