Chiller running through return pump

Hi new member here I need some help on reefers running a chiller through there Return pump.I have a apex and wanted to turn off chiller when return pump is on feeding .TIA

Quick question, are you running the full return flow throw the chiller?
Or is the chiller plumbed off a manifold on the return line?

It’s plumbed off the manifold on the return line.

You would add it to whatever feed mode you have your other stuff to. I don’t see a huge benefit in doing so, feed modes are typical 10 min

Yea like Jose said you could add it to the feed mode by selecting the advanced settings and add line code

If feed _ then off

But I like to use these codes for my chillers

Fallback off
If temp > 80 then on
If temp < 78 then off
If outlet return off then off
Defer 001

This will make sure the chiller will turn off any time the return is off. Also the defer allows water to get flowing befor the chiller turns on.

The return pump runs 1% on feed mode on the möbius.should I but that on the codes ? TIA

Welcome to SCR!

Your Apex can't control your Vectra thru Mobius. Only turn off outlet to it's power supply.

You can delete line 3 FeedA command as well, as the chiller will turn off with the line 6 Output Return command
