So I'm a little bit disappointed. 2 days ago I attempted to make my RBTA host my male Phantom Clownfish. The fish didn't have visible white spots before the procedure. I caught him 3 times and put him on a tube going to the RBTA, after at least 30 minutes of patience, it never happened. So disappointed I left it alone. Now the problem is, last night when im feeding them, I can see at least 10 visible white spots in his body. Now Im worried, should I put him on a quarantine now to treat him? my tank is a red sea reefer 170 with 4 Anthias, one purle fire fish and Orchid dottyback... please advice... I don't want to loose fish again. Thanks!

Could be by chance that the fish broke out with ich and was going to regardless but I wouldn't rule out stress either. If you can pull all the fish out and quarantine then that's the best method to do. If you can't, then feed high quality frozen foods to keep it and all the other fish as healthy as possible to fight it off.

Thanks Shawn, It must be ich as I have been observing all of them. and it only happened after I caught him and did what I did. anyway I have started with LRS Reef Frenzy food. will continue with that. what do you think about KICK-ICH? they said its reef safe.

I say it's not worth it. I know some have used Metronadizole and Seachem Focus to feed the fish to help prevent infection and help them fight ich and is reef-safe.
