What are the signs that an ocellaris clown is about to get it on. Here's what I observed last night. One of them, I am guessing it's the male, he's swimming at a 45 degree angle and shaking. He's been doing it all night but unfortunately my tank is small and he's getting co*k block by a yellow tang. I guess the tang knows whats up and getting ready to eat the eggs??? Anyone else observe this before, not the tang?

The male is just trying to get some. She probably won't respond until she's mature enough. Have you heard of "monkey see monkey do"? Looks like you are setting a bad example dude

Yea, I believe they court each other for like 5 days before the eggs are layed. Usually spawn every few weeks. Mine did up until I removed what they were currently hosting.
