I want to get rid of some aiptasia on my main tank and today i got a Copperband Butterfly and put it first on my frag tank that has some aiptasia to see if he will eat them, i want to try that before putting it on the main tank, he's small size . im also checking if he's nipping my corals on the frag tank.

Have you had any experience with this fish?

If the CBB is directly nipping on top of the corals its no good if its nipping under or base its OK its hunting and it have the potencial of going after aptasia.

Pep shrimp are like one time use you have to starve them and once they get use to fish food their not usefull and have to starve them again.

My peppermint shrimp did great on clearing up the aiptasia, if your CBB doesn't work I'd recommend them.

I have 4 CBB and all eat aiptasia and 2 of then will eat aiptasia right out of my hand. cool to watch
SELL ME ONE!!!

I would use peppermint cause they have work for me in the past but only on small aptaisia. The Aptaisia I have right now are about 9 or 10 and they are huge, they would prolly eat the peppermints.
