I've been keeping mine going with live blood worm feedings. It's been about 5 months and I can't get it to eat anything else for the life of me.

Tong's had them regularly but they have been short lately.

Clam definitely seems like a win

mine I think responds best to stationary food, so I put a little chunk of lrs or rods in an algae feeding clip and she goes to town

like smite said most fish can’t resist live worms

mysis seems to be preferred over other smaller stuff, but mine always just ate mostly everything

one she doesn’t go for is masstick which seems like a disappointing food, my fish are super meh on that one

and of course lots of copperbands unfortunately just wont eat anything ☹️

Yeah same on the masstick. My two leopards go for it but the others just swim around smelling food but don’t find it, or want it. Also trips me out it’s in a metal can? Sure it’s safe but why? Ha!

My copperband wouldn’t eat anything for a while until I tried spirulina brine shrimp.

From there it got used to eating anything frozen from the feeding ring (the long one).

My ccb didn’t eat anything for 5 days after i got him. It didn’t eat black live worm, frozen brine/worm/mysis. Switch turned on when it started seeing the other fishes are eating. It’s eating frozen brine/mysis/blood worm, it goes crazy with brine shrimp. It cleaned my aiptasia problem also.

Just keep feeding it, you’ll prob need to feed more than usual at this point until it starts eating, so that you can entice it to feed.

That’s the plan , been feeding 4 cubes daily and sheet of nori , trying to stick a cube into the clam shells , maybe it’ll help , it has eaten all my feather duster worms and keeps trying to pick at a big one

They love the tiny feather dusters, if you have them in your sump, you can always feed it to the ccb.

And don’t expect it to clear your aptasia problem right away, if you have one. It took along time for my ccb to start eating aiptasia.

Primary reason for getting CBB lol , just need to keep it alive first! Calling some stores for black worms if not I’ll try frozen blood worms next, and I may need to go sump fishing to get more fan worms
