So I've had a flagfin angel in my tank for about 2 years now, he/she has been a great citizen, very friendly with lots of personality. 2 days ago he started swimming from end to end rapidly and constantly. He eats and acts fine, but all day he swims and swims, mostly at the back, but sometimes at the front. He's done a lap or two in the past, but never this consistently. I'm concerned he will wear himself out.

I recently added a small naso tang to the tank (about 5 days before the circuits began) and a diamond goby, both of them are no where near the flagfin and the naso seems to be getting along with everyone despite being smaller or the same as the other fish. We also added two starfish and two urchins.

Other fish
2x blue tangs
bicolor angel
anthisis (x2)
2 occ clowns
2 perc clowns
firefish
yellow wrass
2 cardinal fish

The tank is a 240 with 180 sump.

All parameters are pretty good 1.026, 5-10 ppm nitrate, 0 on everything else. Ph 8.2. Water temp is 79.8

We feed the fish well, bloodworms, mysis, brines. Probably overfeed to keep the aggression down.

Hate to say it but disease may be kicking in. Keep a close eye on all your fish and look for any signs. scraping, heavy breathing, swimming into flow. Hopefully it's just acting out because of the new naso tang.
