#dailytopic let’s share!
What are some things you look for when choosing your lighting? What are some tips you can give others to choose correctly? What type do you prefer and why?

I look for a light with good spread for the size of tank I have, Wi-Fi, and a light that I can control the various led nodes. I dont always get all of that but thats generally what I look for. I have reef breeders photon v2 on my 56 gallon tank, an AI prime HD (my favorite) on my 30 gallon cube, and a cheap no frills wave point hooked up to a plug timer over my 3 gallon. All seem to do an okay job, but the AI performs the best imo.

I agree with mchava
I got the best growth with my 2 400 watt radiums. This time I’m going over kill on my new 20 gallon shallow DT, and putting a kessil 360x over it.
