define chalice naming

Just wondering beside the throwing around of random names for supposedly rare/aesthetically pleasing chalices, whether there's a rhyme or reason for how its done...

for example... the term watermelon and rainbows gets used a lot.. what justifies it to be labeled so?...

I dont know the exact reason but theres probably similarities....maybe same species...kinda like hornets or people eaters just different patterning

watermelon for the color pink and green. rainbow 3 or more colors. thats what i get from it. might be wrong though

take pics and post name with it and BAMMMM you got a named coral unless it was already named but I've seen ppl do it regardless
