Purchased a tank as a result of our remodel, had to dispose of the old tank and find a replacement for the new spot for the tank. I was instructed to downsize, so I did. Went from a 240 (8x2x2) to a ~225 (5x3x2), peninsula style. Fish and such have been in a black bin at a friend's house for 12 weeks now, and as far as I can tell, no losses.

So, here is the backstory. My wife decided on a kitchen remodel, which grew and grew until the entire first floor was gutted. The end result was the spot for my old tank took on a new role, and had to replace it with a tank taking up less wall space.

After some back and forth with the great team at CDA I landed on the tank above, plus the steel stand and magnetic panels. Modular marine 24" overflow with 1.5" plumbing. Note to anyone looking at the 24" modular marine, it was a tight fit, and normal elbows would not work, so I had to get street elbows and do a little creative plumbing. Received the tank last week, the delivery was great, and Trenton was so helpful.

Took longer than I expected on the plumbing, it's been 10 years, and I'll be honest, I screwed up a few places and had to re-work it. Plumbing for people with good knees and a good back, but in any case it's the plumbing is running. The initial wet run identified a few fixes that needed to be applied, but almost everything is as planned.

Added dry sand (rinses multiple times first) and then live sand. Going to condition it for another week before I bring my buddies back from Anahiem.
