Do you clean your back wall?

I’ve ended up scraping one of the tanks’ back wall. Haven’t done that in years and it was nasty. Hope I can grow coralline on the glass this time. I have them on rocks but it takes awhile on glass. My frag tank is acrylic and 3 sides are covered in coralline, which I don’t mind.

I never used to, but I noticed if you have a black background and it is clean, the tank looks much better so every once in a while I’ll get back there and start scraping

Agreed - black background brings out the color in fish & corals. I’ll settle for a purple coralline background; however, it is currently brown! Ugh
