It is a male dog and looks like a pug breed. Came to the house and there was no tag what so ever. We already have a poodle and he doesn’t really like this guy here but this pug is very friendly. Plus we don’t need another dog atm. Lmk if any one interested pls pm. Thanks.

He looks like somebodys pal. Why not notify the pound and see if someone is looking for him.

Yes, you're supposed to bring him to the pound to see if anyone claims him. But I had an awful experience with the pound in downey. I found a stray Belgian malinois, held it for a couple days while I posted all over social looking for her owner. Eventually, my own dog couldn't take it anymore and I brought her to the pound. Well, no owner came, and after about a month, she got put to sleep due to some disease outbreak over there. Awful place :(

You can take the dog to a local vet to have it scanned to see if it has a chip. If it does, they'll be able to reach out to the contact on the chip.
20 years ago I had a dog that ran away. The person who found the dog took him to the vet down the street and had him scanned. He was returned to me in only 3 hours time. That dog was 8 months old at the time and wound up living to be 15. I am so happy and thankful someone DID THE RIGHT THING and returned my best dog ever to me instead of giving him away to god knows who.

Bring to vet for chip scan. And post on all the social media like FB local buzz, nextdoor, and ring. If nothing else, bring to pound to see if anyone is looking for them.
