It’s been a while since I’ve last posted. I still have my tank and after many years of neglect it suffered greatly due to my DA RKL finally gave up the ghost after 15yrs. Crazy temp swings and ATO stuck on along with my BTA wiping out some corals. Bubble algae literally covered every single inch of rock. Tank stand had bad water damage. It was time to give my tank some love. I’ve designed and built my own tank stand out of 3030 extrusion. Invested in Hydros launch controller. Removed as much bubble algae as possibly with a 15g water change after maybe 3yrs of not changing it. I also went back to topping off my ATO with ro/di instead of drinking water. I’ve saved as much coral as possible. I still have not tested my water nor plan too as I’ve learn not to chase numbers and it worked for the longer run besides lacking on equipment maintenance. Anyways I will be upgrading my sump and maybe Display tank. Goal to go with 36x20x18 display tank and aqua forest af790 sump.
