Anyone know where to buy some locally? I called SoCal tropical cuz I heard he stocks it, but he never answered. If I can't find it locally, I wanna order some tonight.

Also I was thinking about maybe trying BRS BPs, anyone tried those.

Don't waste your time with brs pellets. They don't compare to Dr Tims. Order them form his site you will have them next day.

I wouldn't use anything other than Dr.Tims.
If you want to know why his are better than anyone else's, just call and ask him.
He can explain why.

The only difference between dr Tim's and everyone else's is the shape, besides that its the exact same compound as np,atb and whoever else. Eco bak on the other hand is different in every aspect down to its compound wich is proven by how aggressive Eco bak is.

I remember hearing that Eco bak breaks down differently.... when it gets really small, that makes them have a negative effect. I'm gonna try to get a better answer from Dr. Tim and report back to this thread.

In talking with him this is not the case. His pellets are not the same as everyone else. Sorry I can't remember all the info but I will say I have tried others and had the best results with his

Ok check what his are made out of then check what everyone's else's are made of you will see its all the same his only vary In shape. Now check what Eco bak is made of and you will see its different all together.

I can tell Dr Tims are def better. I paid $60 for 900ml and I could have gotten 1000ml ecobak pellets for $50

More $ = better product!!!

Hahahaha ha jk ;)

I actually run a mix of Ecobak and Dr Tims in my reactor. I figure each pellet my have a different for of bacteria for more diversity.

Just hoping to have a low nutrient tank. I've been battling phosphates for awhile. I'm hoping the pellets will help keep them in check. I also stopped dosing vodka or vinegar, and i Noticed my SPS corals started to lose that "pop" that they normally have.
