Experience W/ Hamilton fixtures

Just wondering if anyone has had any experience or comments regarding Hamilton Fixtures. I am looking to buy a dual 36" 175 MH w/ 2 96 watt PCs from Custom Aquatics. This is a major purchase for me so I want to make sure I am buying a quality piece or if there is a better value out there for my money. If anyone has a similar piece for sale in used in great condition let me know. Thanks

I'm only using the fixture itself (different brand on ballast and bulbs) so all I can say is that the reflectors blow. Older model, so maybe the newer ones are better.

Does the reflector absorb the light?

i have a 72" hamilton halide setup with ham ballast ...3 175watts and 2 atinics..i love the fixture everything about it. very reliable. i also have a 250 watt pendant from them and it too is a great fixture. many people prefer hamilton products.

why not buy it from hamilton direct...theyre in Gardena...may be cheaper...

Good point. I am no longer in Socal, New Mexico to finish school and then going back, gonna miss taking those suday trips to all the local fish spots. Also I am not paying retail, getting a good deal, at least I think.
