Hi everyone. I made this thread to talk about microfauna and methods used in breeding and raising them. For the last year Ive been researching and learning about first foods for raising fish or invert larvae. I would like to know all about your experience with breeding anything and what diet you chose to use.
Ive been trying to breed peppermint shrimp. I am on my fourth clutch of larvae. I havent had any survivors yet. Ive raised them to day 28 for this last one. There are about 50. No way to count exact.
If anyone has suggestions or if anyone has questions or needs help with their build let me know. I also sell my Copepods, small and large Rotifers, Phytoplankton and baby & adult brine shrimp.
Please feel free to leave comments regarding your experience with these first foods so we can share ideas, results, and methods of raising any of the above.
Thanks and hope to meet everyone soon
Heres the pics I promised.
