Fish ID

Owner told me it is a white banded or white barred goby.
Not sure can some Id it looks like a wrasse

Looks like a checkerboard wrasse (Halichoeres hortulanus) to me. If it is in fact that I would be wary of buying fish from a store that doesn't know what they are selling. You could end up having a lot of problems with fish and aggression with other tank inhabitants. Research any fish you want before you buy and throw into your system.

Yeah I always double check with fish I don’t know. Looks like they aren’t reef safe. Thanks for the info it is indeed a checkerboard wrasse in juvenile
