Hello everyone I purchased a flame hawkish yesterday and is about 2 inches long. On websites it says that is is semiaggressive and I wanted to know from people that have them or used to have them how their temperament is for the most part. I know every fish is different but most of the time there is a trend. Will it eat my fire shrimp or hermit crabs? The guy at the fish store said it will not bother my hermit crabs but it will eat shrimp if they are small but not if they are big. Thanks for all the help.

I love my lil red crack head. He will sit on some coral every now and then but he is no arsehole. A Def must have. O and he eats all types of food no problem. Likes meaty foods better.
Does he bother your hermit crabs ?
I love my flame hawk! So much personality and he is one of the most peaceful fish in my tank. He has never gone after any fish or invert.

I have 3 in my tank. They have a love hate relationship. Sometimes they hang out together and other times chasing one another. I've seen them flip over small nassarius snails before
Awesome fish but, I had one that was dick to anything new. He would torment fish until they jumped out.

I just last mine this week. Super cool fish, didn't bother anything. I have 2 large cleaner shrimp in the tank as well
Thanks guys for all the help so far my hawkish hasn't bothered any of the fish I have in my QT tank. Hopefully he is very peaceful and does not bother my inverts haha
