Hi, me again.

So, after 9 months of trying to fish a gorilla crab out of the return pump chamber of my IM Nuvo 10g, I finally grabbed him today. I have no idea what he's been doing there or how he's survived this long, but he's for sure bigger than when he somehow got into the AIO chamber. He's been climbing up the return pump/heater cords lately, so I think he's ready to get out of the AIO. On to bigger and dirtier filtration chambers!

Does anyone want a nice looking gorilla crab for their sump?

Pick-up or drop-off near in/near Irvine.

Thanks!

Gorilla crab is still alive today if anyone wants it. I feel bad about euthanizing it, since it survived 8 months in an AIO return chamber, but I don't want it climbing over into the DT.

Let me know before the executioner arrives!!

Look at that menacing fellow. So fierce. Good luck!

@Bugs this guy would go well with your mantis (but not if you have coral.)

Yeah, I hate to throw it out. It's traveled a long way in a piece of gulf rock rubble that ended up in my AIO filtration chamber and has been evading my tongs and surviving in its own little dark kingdom for 8 months!

But, it's been climbing up pretty high lately (which is how I caught it) and I don't care to chase down another gorilla in my DT...

He's back in my AIO return pump chamber @isaacalves

I didn't have the heart to throw it out after it's survived and grown bigger in that return chamber for almost 9 months! Back in it went. As long as it doesn't look like it can crawl out, I'm OK with it.

I have a taker though if I ever catch him again!
