Here’s the deal, this TV turns on, then turns off right away. I didn’t want to figure what was wrong with it, as I need a TV for work. So maybe a tech savvy person can fix it? Comes with remote, power cable, but no stand (or at least I can’t find it, as it was mounted on a rolling stand). FCFS

If no takers, then it’s going to the recycle bin.

Nice!
Did you try power cycle yet?

Power cycle your Vizio TV, follow the steps given below:
  • Unplug the power cord from the back of the TV.
  • Hold the power button on the TV for five seconds. Repeat this step a few times.
  • Then, plug the power cord back into the port.
  • Let the device remain unpowered for an additional 10 minutes before turning it back on.

Yeah, I tried all of the things listed, plus a few other things. It worked for a while, but then it stopped and nothing worked after that. I did everything but take it apart.

Have you tried replacing the power cable?

Take the batteries out of your remote, see if that does anything.

Yeah, I’ve done all the things possible except open it up. Hard reset, power cable, remote reset, factory default when it stayed on, etc. I’ve replaced it with a TCL already, so I don’t want to mess with it and it’s taking up space in my studio, so I just want it gone at point. I figured there may be someone here who likes to tinker with electronics and could possibly have another TV? It all started with having to unplug the hdmi cable from my computer before it would stay on. Then it slowly got to the point where no matter what, it wouldn’t stay on. My work has hard deadlines, so I couldn’t afford any downtime.
Again, if no one is interested, then I’ll take it to the electronics recycling place near me.
