That time has come; I have to rehome my favorite fish in the tank.

she has become too big and it’s only a matter of time before she knocks over everything with each swim.

she is around 8-9 inches, been QTed prior to addition, been in my tank 3-4 years, SUPER FAT AND HEALTHY.

absolute perfect coat and no nipped fins or damage. Just the perfect specimen.

female regular Naso Tang, super peaceful with tangs I’ve had in the past.

eats everything, from Nori to Macro to homemade food and pellets

asking $200.

pickup curbside in Irvine.

will provide bucket but please bring an airstone and bubbler for long car ride if you need it

Nice healthy looking tang. What size aquarium do you have her in.

It’s a 125. Just got too big for her.

it’s sold now, and my heart now has a Naso sized holed in my heart.

got some new fish to fill that hole though

What a beautiful fish. I'm wary about the day my foxface gets too big for the 4ft tank :-(
I feel you :( my tank even though it’s a 125 is 4ft which is a huge limiter. Just didn’t know much about fish when I got that tank.

Bummed - beautiful fish. I believe mine is the same (or slightly bigger) as yours? Anyway, very peaceful and cool fish but can grow fast!

What did you end up getting?

I was back and forth on a few options since I have a juvenile yellow tang that might be aggressive, but I decided on a Chocolate Tang and a White tail Bristletooth Tang as they can live in the 125 forever.

I don’t think I’ll have any problems with Tang aggression with some decoy Tang and mirror tricks. Fingers crossed. Also trying Dr Reefs for the first time.

I think that it’s about time to justify a bigger tank upgrade? I always try to buy the biggest fish so I can get a bigger tank…

I just might have to… the tank is getting old and I’m afraid it might break a seam soon.
