So its been almost 4 days now since i got this lion and also a fuzzy dwarf lionfish. The Fuzzy started eating little guppy fish right away but the Fu Manchu just looks at them as they swim past his face. Any thing special i should try to make he eat something? Ive also tried frozen brine and mysis thinking maybe something smaller would look good but nope.

New lionfish wont eat anything frozen ie Mysis or Brine. If it stops eating live guppies maybe try a smaller or larger size guppies. Live brine shrimp should entice it to eat. You can also try live ghost shrimp. Once it starts eating live food you can wean it to frozen food. Here is a great article on keeping Lionfish

Yeah i know i cant expect it to eat frozen off the bat but i was just reaching for options like maybe he already got weaned over. Ive tried ghost shrimp (put 3 in) and again the fuzzy got one right away and the Fu just watched and after 30 min just left and next day the rest were gone but didnt see who ate what. He might be eating, but not when i watch...
