Hi there. My name is Prashanth. I met a local high desert reefer named James who referred me to this forum. I have been keeping my 180 gallon mixed reef for almost 3 years now. Two tank crashes and I am still at it. I think it is great that there is a forum that represents our corner of the world. I am looking forward to joining the community, and want to thank James again for leading me to this site. - Prashanth

My Tank Build
Hello. Do you make it out to aquarium world, how's that shop looking these days. One of the greatest tanks I've ever seen was located in apple valley at the home of Tracy Gray.

Thanks for the warm welcome guys. I haven't taken any recent pics, and am not skilled with a camera, but have attached two fts since most recent "redo" of the tank. Work has kept me from fully dedicating some extra time to maintenance, but always keep thinking of my next project. I think its one of those things where you want to try something new, and have been reading more recently about water chemistry and looking into attempting more SPS. Thanks again, I hope the pics get uploaded ok. - Prashanth

Wow, those are a couple of really bad pics! I will try and take some new pictures over the weekend. Will also need to figure out how to post more efficiently!

Nice looking tank. Don't sweet the pics being bad, most of us take bad pics. How are you liking your sols? I love mine. Al I think your gonna enjoy them as well. The price should be coming down quick. I just read the vegas are to ship in august.

The sols are great. Have been running them for little over a year. Very simple, bulletproof controller. Used to have aquatic life T5 fixture that had ongoing glitches. I was considering MH but am glad I bought these.
