Help me choose a DSLR and Macro Lense

I decided to get the Canon XTi and the Canon lense. I even got a local retailer to match the price of BHphoto for them. Now the reading begins!!! Again, I would like to say thank you for everyones input.

I got lucky and got a price match from Ritz Camera. It took a lot of begging and pleading.
